The beginning:

My life changed on 09/28/95, the day my daughter was born. This was the most joyful, yet scariest day of my life. An ending of one era and the beginning of another, a day that I would never forget, nor do I ever want to. No one ever tells you how hard it is to be a single mom, or how much you would give up to do this, but it was all definitely worth it. The first time you hold your child you know that there is nothing you wouldn't do to protect them. It is then that you realize that they are your life!
